Babes on a Budget: Top 10 Clean Beauty Products Under $10

Girl, we get it.

You have all these beauty needs but don’t have the budget to back it up…samesies! For Claudia and I, we take our beauty regimens seriously, but also realize that we can’t spend $50+ on every product. Thankfully, managing Uncover the Glow for the past few years has lead us to some incredible and affordable clean beauty products…under $10.

Let’s not waste another second and get right into it. Here are our top 10 clean beauty products under $10!

First of all, if you haven’t experimented with Cocokind, it’s time! This brand is built from simple, clean ingredients that you can always trust. One of my die-hard Cocokind products is this MyMatcha All-Over Moisture Stick. It’s the most dual-purpose product! It’s packed with moisturizing ingredients and matcha so it’s great for hydrating and energizing! I love using this on my under eyes and lips. TBH – not sure if I’ve found a better eye product!

I’m just going to say it, a double-cleansing routine is life-changing! Whether you reach for an oil-based cleanser or use micellar water, your face will never be cleaner. We are long-time fans of this Garnier Micellar Water. It literally pulls all the makeup, dirt and grime right off your face like a magnet! It’s an absolute must-have. Plus, it’s great at taking off stubborn eye makeup!

If you’re a true babe on a budget, you’re probably one to opt for an in-home mani more often than not. Us too! As far as beauty products go, nail polishes are some of the dirtiest (chemically, of course) on the market! They are typically jam-packed with things you definitely don’t want to put on your body. That’s why we love Zoya! These nail polishes are 10-Free, long-lasting, and affordable. What’s not to love?

I would venture to say that niacinamide is the most game-changing skin care ingredient Claudia and I have experimented with! From clearing pores to fixing texture issues, niacinamide will be your new best friend. Plus, it’s great for most skin types! The great thing about The Ordinary’s niacinamide product is it’s so affordable! (All The Ordinary stuff is affordable AF!)

We’ve only been experimenting with Good Molecules for a few weeks now, but we are in love! Claudia is loving this Overnight Exfloiating Treatment and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. It’s comparable to my all-time favorite Drunk Elephant glycolic night serum (which is $90 btw!) and is great for preventing breakouts. It’s breakout-fighting power is due to the AHAs (chemical exfoliants) that do wonders for your skin.

Alright, so we all rely on dry shampoo from time-to-time (or every other day if you’re me!), but have you thought about what’s in that can you’ve been using? While those aerosol sprays are so convenient, they’re so bad for you and the environment! Recently, I’ve turned to the Acure Dry Shampoo, which is a non-aerosol form of dry shampoo. While it’s a little tricky to get used to applying, it works wonders once you get the hang of it! Plus, I feel like dry shampoo used to irritate my scalp and now I have zero irritation!

So I stumbled on this brand as a total accident. My in-laws were visiting from California and staying at my house. My mother-in-law bought Maui Moisture shampoo and conditioner to use during her stay and I’m so glad she did! This shampoo is SO hydrating and makes my hair feel healthy and luscious. Plus, it never weighs me down or creates build-up on my scalp. I’m honestly shocked at how well it works at the pricepoint it’s at. Seriously…SHOCKED!

We’re so excited to experiment more with VERSED! All clean, affordable and available at Target! That’s a brand we can for sure get behind (as long as the products are good, right?!). I grabbed this mask last time I was spending too much money at Target and I’m so glad I did! It’s made with Kaolin Clay, which is my favorite of the clays! It is gentle enough for all skin types but really does wonders at getting your blood circulating, clearing pores, and helping with discoloration! Hence, the “photos please” in the name. I love this mask!

If you’re looking to add a simple, yet power-packed step to your skin care routine, but don’t want to break the bank…look no further than witch hazel. Witch hazel has been around forever as a skin care ingredient (even my husband has been using it long before I met him!). Witch hazel has amazing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can reduce acne, fight signs of aging, prevent ingrowns and rashes, and keeps your scalp/hair healthy. Thayer’s is our favorite witch hazel product! Clean and affordable…check, check!

Beauty Doesn’t Have to Break the Bank

Look, I totally get it! I’m on a budget always, but I’ve been known to splurge for a product from time-to-time…(hello, Drunk Elephant). Having used pricey products in the past, I know that sometimes pricier doensn’t mean better!

All of these products above are tried and true favorites of ours. Absolute favorites that are under $10. That’s amazing!
