I’ve found my forever makeup brand with ILIA, you guys!
Let me just get this out there: I’m not a big makeup person. I grew up in the world of competitive dance and I can’t stand heavy makeup. It scarred me for life. That said, I’m also not someone that hates makeup. I’m just somewhere in the middle, you know?
When wearing makeup, I look for five things:
- Is it comfortable? I don’t like to feel makeup on my face.
- Is it clean? Just looking for ingredients I can trust.
- Is it easy? I need no-fuss options.
- Does it look good? Obviously important.
- Does it last? No one has time for touch ups throughout the day.
Thankfully, ILIA is a yes for all of those for me! Interested in which products of theirs are my favorites? Let’s get into it.
ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
I seriously don’t think I will ever use another skin tint again. Why would I when this tint gives my ideal amount of coverage (enough but not too much), has SPF, and feels like skincare and makeup combined? Seriously it’s a power-packed product. It has ingredients like niacinamide and squalane so it’s a dual-purpose makeup product which I love. I honestly think my skin has improved since using this reguarly.

ILIA True Skin Serum Concealer
Another holy grail product, friends. With concealer, my biggest concern is always: will it crease? Nothing bothers me more than when my concealer is creased under my eyes. Thankfully, this one never creases. It really just melts right into my skin. It lasts all day. Really, I can’t complain one bit about this!

ILIA Multi-Stick
Gotta love a good multi-purpose product! I use this for my lips, cheeks and sometimes even as an eyeshadow. It’s not too pigmented, but can be more pigmented if you layer it. It also goes on so smoothly and has a slight dewey finish, which I love. Can’t go wrong with having this one in your makeup bag.

ILIA Clean Line Gel Eyeliner
I love this eyeliner for mainly two reasons:
- It’s so easy to apply…no need to press hard and pull on your eyelids to get it on perfectly.
- It lasts all day, but when you’re ready to wash it off it’s a breeze.

ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara
If I had to tell you to just start with one ILIA product, this would be the one. It is the absolute best mascara ever. Claudia and I haven’t found a clean, or non-clean, mascara that we love more. This just goes on so well, looks amazing, and there’s no flaking or smudging. Oh, and it looks perfect all day long. Literally there is NO better mascara out there and we know that’s a big statement to make!

ILIA The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette
Remember when I said I’m not a big makeup girl? I’m really not and eyeshadow is probably where I fail the most when it comes to makeup. I honestly don’t know how to apply it well and just look for whatever is simple and will hold up well throughout the day. This palette is perfect for me.

I honestly have never found a makeup brand I love more. It truly just checks all the boxes for me! And I’m realizing the only two products in my makeup routine that aren’t ILIA right now are my brow gel and eye illuminator (which both are Thrive Causemetics right now). That said, I just bought the ILIA brow gel to test out so I’ll update this post when I do!
