Let’s talk fruits!
Did you know there are tons of fruit-based ingredients that are great for both your hair and skin? Yup, like TONS. Today we’ll be covering what we consider to be the top 5 fruit-based ingredients! Keep in mind, as always, that your skin might not react perfectly to all. But this trend is certainly worth a shot if you’re looking for naturally-derived products to perk up your beauty routine!
1. Apple
An apple a day keeps the doctor away! (And apparently the dermatologist too.) The peel of an apple contains tons of polyphenols, which are antioxidants that helps protect our skin from UV damage. Apples are also rich in vitamin C and vitamin A! Not to mention, the acidity of an apple helps to rebalance our scalp and sebum and can act as a natural toner.

And last but certainly not least on our list of fruit-based ingredients…watermelon! It contains vitamin A, which helps oil production at bay. Want faster growing hair? Turn to watermelon! This powerful fruit contains an amino acid called arginine that helps increase blood circulation in the scalp. Seriously, watermelon is the best!
